iv got a FF wit CP on and had the zorst done larger intercooler done and also got an IK on as well and im running 248bhp at the mo, as for the remap im not running one at the mo cos no one seems to have a fully working map for a euro 4 engine that the newer 225s run, i had mine mapped but the ecu blew along with a few other parts, hence we now know the normal map on the 225s will not work on a E4 engine, also waiting for a decat as well, so wen map and cat completed i should be around the 300bhp mark

Cancel the order quick!! Buy a Seat Leon Cupra R instead. They have no oomph and I have had one for a week now and want my LCR back. Sorry!!

angelfeet, sorry your disappointed with the megane. Its not going to please everyone. Perhaps you'll have more fun in your seat.

Did you not test drive the megane before you bought it?

The 225 is ace m8. Cup chasis recomended. Zorst a bit tame so a Blueflame from Nige works wonders, dump valve will aid your acceleration and like Alex Intercooler to keep those temps down and an induction kit to shovel that air in, top that with a remap and should be near if not just over the 300bhp, but please run yours in first!!!!!

Hoping to have all my mods complete for the show (money permiting of course)

must be windy up there then as my mate has got a LCR mapped to 249bhp and i kick its arse every time, and mines only done 2600 miles, even wen it was standard at 220bhp and mine 222bhp i still beat it.

yes I did but salesmen up here don't like women "driving " cars as if they mean it. It actually felt nippy in 1st and second but it is in the higher gears the acceleration isn't there. I guess less valves don't help.
I am trying to love it...honest. Stuck with it now anyway.....

I think its quite nippy, even in higher gears, but i can't comment on the seat as ive never driven one. Might have to book a test drive !!!

Jesus are you still here? If your damn Seat was so good why did you get rid of it? How can you buy a brand new car and be this surprised by it? Poor planning. :roll:
