I am looking into lowering my CC soon and wondered if anyone knows if I can lower it by 30-40mm without losing any ride comfort? If it's not possible then fair enough but if there is some shocks/springs combo that would be suitable to give the softest ride possible I would like to know where they can be bought from.

ITs not really possible to lower significantly and keep the same ride comfort, at least without risking serious bottoming out of the car.
Once you lower a car both the springs and dampers rates should be changed to avoid bottoming out.
Some folks will just change to lowering springs, and ignore the fact that they have poor damping as a result.
Lowering springs have to be much firmer than the oem springs, since you would have surrendered so much suspension travel (that normally facilitates comfort ) for aesthetic considerations in this case.

Take a look at Koni FSD dampers. Couple these with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and you may be onto a winner.

Yeah I was looking at eibach springs before. I was also thinking of going down the coil over route but heard that they would be insanely stiff ride.

Can't find any wheels I like tbh, going to get it lowered by about 30-35mm and see how it looks then may opt for some bigger rims if the arch gap is still there.
