Right guys and girls...I know you've all prob done it or a good amount of you. I decided to take my MEG badge off but a slight problem, although I really like it and it suites the car fine, I've been left with this

What's the best way to get it off the paintwork?
Cheers

Not yet didn't really think that They would work. Thought it was deeper than what the products could lift.

Its just where the paintwork has weathered around where the badge used to be. I had the same problem when i removed the renaultsport badge too. Just clayed and polished as mentioned above.

My mates did exactly the same...

I attacked it with 3M, 3 stage cutting on a dual action polisher...

Not a trace left when finished.

I don't own one :-( or I would. But see what Santa brings me.
What's the 3stage? Or what three products. Cheers

I've just this minute been looking at the fast cut + plus compound. So added the three from the link you sent in my basket and now for a DA.

yea they need to be used as a combination...

First Fast Cut Plus to remove swirls. Then Extra Fine Compound to remove small scratch left by fast cut. After Ultrafina SE Polish to remove any holograms / fill areas let by the two previous.

I would have a good look at the 'Kestrel das6 pro' dual action polisher.

I have had mine for over 4 years with plenty of use and it runs like day one.

Jacob,

If it came off in one piece (and you don't want to keep it), can I buy the 'M' off of you? I snapped mine whilst cleaning the car a while ago!

Cheers.
