Hi
I have rally prepared Renault 5 with cammed/itb F7R engine and Sadev Dog box . I want to change the engine to R26 one . As i must have a high locking diff , i started looking for dogbox for the megane engine. I found out that some of the R26 have factory LSD ?
Is that true , which gearboxes have it ( gearbox number ) , what type of LSD is , what brand ... basically every thing that you can tell me about the megan gear box .

I believe it is NDO 000 which has the LSD. May be wrong though? Pretty sure there was one on eBay but that was at the weekend.

That's all I know about it sorry mate.

Sorry for the stupid question but there are a lot of Megan Sport models ....
As far as i know first it was :
225 .. Cup / non cup
Later :
R26 - cup / non cup / trophy / F1
And then : R26R ....

Do you mean that all Megan 2 Sport have it ( 225 , R26 , R26R ... cups ... non cups ...etc ) . Is there a difference between the locks of the diffs ? My Sadev dogbox is .... as far as i remember 80 % pre lock ... up to 100 % .

225 225 cup pack 225 cup 225 trophy have no lsd gearbox number is ND0 000
R26 and R26.r use the same box same diff and number is ND0 002 iirc
i dont know i got that off a site i was reading for you earlier

10x a lot ... will be looking for Engine and gearbox from R26 :) Any idea how the turbo will handle anti lag ? Will be able to cover ... at least 1500-2000 miles before it goes dead ? What about the intake manifold ... can it handle the bangs ?
I am not looking for high milege as a rally car is revised every 1500 -2000 miles.

R26 box is ndo 020. There is a box on eBay at the minute that is claimed to be from a 26 but has a ndo 000 code in the pics. The 020 number is also stamped in the underside of the box if your in any doubt. :)

Anti lag systems spray fuel in the exhaust manifold to create pressure for big turbos to spool on low revs or on launch.

This creates bang or explosions and can crack manifolds and turbos.
