the place that done the rolling road also have begun to develop/design these new style induction kits for some/most cars, they have got one for the new golf gti and as we know that engine covers a range of cars, also had one for the bmw from a 318 to a 330i, hondas and fords.

so i put the qestion to him do they or are they looking at doing one for the 225, so he said if i bring the car back in wen they an afternoon free to take the battery out the ecu out and battery tray etc etc the y will then design an whole new layout to refit the ecu and battery to fit one of these new systems, they also said they will design a new pipe from the turbo that runs to the air box allowing alot more room to fit a filter in the space provided.

ill keep you informed on the out come and progression on this,

here are a couple of pics of the one for the golf, think they are well neat and tidy.

it does list all the bmws on the fitting list, i thought it would look the nuts all tucked up in the corner, they will do it so it gets all the air flow needed to it, and then cover the filter in carbon fibre so no hot air can get to it,
will also make a new pipe from the filter to the turbo allowing more room.
