My mate is a salesman for SEAT (Patterson SEAT in Newcastle) and he's had the new Leon TFSI all day. Must admit that it revs really well, and seems to be quite quick. It's a 2lt turbo engine but it's the baby 'sporty' Leon. By all accounts the new Leon FR is going to have 200bhp and the Cupra R 240bhp.

I think there are going to be some seriously fast Leons on the road in a few months.

Just a heads up lads. :D

P.S. If you buy a new Cupra R you'll have the option of a dealer chipped engine taking the power up to 275bhp.

bare in mind it will only push out around 245bhp at the wheels tho which is still alot but not stupid for a front drive car.

Anything above ~240 bhp through front wheels ends up crashed into ditch as soon as you let go of the wheel. Will need much smarter computer to avoid torque steer, new Civic Type RR worth watching. Renault could do a RWD rather than 4WD?
