my car ( which I don’t collect until Wednesday ) is a 5dr and I was told it’s a Cup version, as the spec code is on the drivers door b pillar . The car has gold Brembo with drilled front discs. Multispoke 18” alloys on 20mm spacers , xenon headlight. Leather interior. Is there a 5dr cup ?
On another note, options on suspension kit. Don’t really want to throw a+£1000 damper/ spring combo. It will be a road car and my thought process the std springs and damper have done 100k and getting to the end of there life. Any suspension mods ( uprated bushes ) worth doing ?
Does the LSD box from R26 /F1 a straight fit. Do they really transform the handling.

Hard to tell without photo, first is that ph1 or ph2? You can tell that by tail light. Ph2 has the cup body by default and caliper are in red. Ph1 come with silver caliber cup has a leather+cloth seats very comfortable, well non cup come with full leather. Cup has different rear suspension than non cup and is a way stiffer the stock suspension are more than enough for daily for cup. Not sure the lsd is straight bolt on but I heard ppl do it. Is it worth lsd? Yes from a r26f1 owner.

In the end after phone two other Renault sport dealers, Ren Sport in Stockport confirm it was a cup chassis. I've got full leather, cruise, brembos. Looks like it a Lux pack with cup chassis.

It sounds like you're excited about your new car! It's great to hear that the car has a few performance upgrades like gold Brembo brakes and drilled front discs, 18" multispoke alloys on 20mm spacers, and xenon headlights.

Regarding the "cup" version, it's possible that it is a special edition or a limited-run version of the car. Some manufacturers offer "cup" or "performance" versions of their cars, which usually come with a few extra performance upgrades. You can check with the manufacturer or a dealership to confirm if it is indeed a "cup" version or if it is just a special edition or package.

As for the suspension options, it's a matter of personal preference. If you're happy with the way the car handles as it is and don't want to spend a lot of money on suspension upgrades, you could consider just replacing the worn out parts like the bushings and shocks. Upgraded bushings can help to improve handling and stability, while keeping the cost down.

Regarding the LSD box, you should check with the manufacturer or a dealership if it is a straight fit. An LSD can definitely help to improve the car's handling and traction, but it's important to keep in mind that it may also increase the wear on the drivetrain and could affect the car's warranty.
Overall, it's great that you're taking the time to research and consider your options before collecting your new car. Enjoy your new ride!

You should ask the manufacturer or a dealership if the LSD box is a direct fit before assuming anything. An LSD can undoubtedly help the car handle better and have more traction when banking, but it's vital to keep in mind that it may also cause the drivetrain to wear out faster and void the warranty.
In general, it's excellent that you are devoting the time to reading up on and weighing your alternatives before picking up your new car. Enjoy your new vehicle!

Definitely phase 1, as evidenced by the taillight, the clock, and the steering wheel. I'll guess this is a non-cup version because the seat in the cup version of the PH2 is different from the PH1's beautiful cloth leather design with renault sport stitching.

Finally, after consulting with two additional Renault Sport dealers, Ren Sport in Stockport verified that it was a cup chassis. I have cruise, full leather, and brembo brakes. With a cup chassis, it appears to be a Lux pack.

Before making any assumptions, you should find out from the manufacturer or a dealer if the LSD box is a direct match. Undoubtedly, an LSD can improve handling and provide more grip when banking, but it's important to keep in mind that it could also hasten drivetrain degradation and void the warranty.
Overall, it's great that you're taking the time to research and analyse your options before choosing your new car. Enjoy your brand-new car!

Yes, there is a 5-door Cup version of the car. The Brembo brakes and xenon headlights are common features of this model. As for suspension options, there are several choices depending on your budget and driving style. Upgraded bushes can help improve handling, but a complete suspension kit can give a more noticeable improvement. It depends on what you're looking for. The LSD box from the R26/F1 is a direct fit, and can definitely enhance handling, but make sure to research compatibility with your specific car model.
