That is one awesome looking car. God knows what it would put out.

I'd sign up for one no probs, only problem is then we wouldn't be driving exclusive french cars! :D
I might ask the Nissan product managers at work if they know any more info on this.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK Me

My pens ready and waiting where do i sign 8)

Think i am getting a hard on
Isn't Renault/Nissan effectively the same company ?

Got to agree, if it was produced with only minor differences from the concept then I'd be rushing to join the queue
They are not the same company.

Apart from Carlos Ghosn being CEO of both companies they are seperate companies. They have a share based alliance.

They have their own
Dealerships
Head Offices (same place in the UK)
Manafacturing plants
Parts distribution centres (same place in the UK)
Design houses
Technical centres
Product lines.

How the alliance works in short is that the 2 companies try as much as possible not to target the same market.

Notice how Renault dosent have any 4x4's
or how Nissan dosent market any family hatchbacks

Another side of Nissan you dont see is their forklift production up in Bardon.

Alot of the the back end infrustructure for the companies runs through France but they remain seperate entities.

they do share technologies though.
