While browsing through the Cup Chassis specifications I could not find anything about the re-tuned steering...

http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/roadcars/megane225/options.htm

Read below:

18" Lightweight Anthracite Alloy Wheels
Anthracite coloured door mirror housings
Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres 235/40 R18 (ilo 225/40 R18)
Drilled front and rear brake discs
Uprated front and rear spring rates (25% front and 77% rear)
Re-tuned front / rear damper settings
Increased brake master cylinder diameter

a) They have made the new steering set up standard on all 225's
b) They no longer offer this steering set up
c) Forgot to include it in the web site's list

What do you think

Good to speak to you too!

Ill be waiting for the info on the steering... If its true, itll be like a God sent. The one thing I dislike in my current 225 is the numbness on of the steering... But I certainly dont need a harder suspension.

.... because they no longer quote it in the CUP Chassis option detail... (see renaultsport.co.uk) so we're wondering if they have stopped including it in the Cup pack altogether or its now standard on all 225 Meggys....

Alonso, I have just seen a brochure for the new Phase II , the uprated steering is part of the Cup Chassis pack and not standard on the Full Fat 225.

So what we dont know is why they have omitted it from the web's Cup Pack...
Ive emailed a friend in the internet marketing team whos incharge of the renaultsport site.

The site is about to get a revamp aswell.

Its an error, I am sure that they will rectify it now. Basically if you want the uprated steering you need a Cup pack added to a full fat 225 5dr

Cheers!
