When I turn the steering wheel to take the car out of a parking lot (generally to full lock) I hear the noise of a part that is spinning more quickly then the steering wheel itself.
Anyone that has experinced the problem?
Thanks
Thanks for your feeback. As far as I know in the group there is a Renault Expert. He might know the noise. Anyway soon I will take the vehicle to the dealer for oil service. I will let you know about their opinion.
It could be the "rotary switch" that is making the noise. Not uncommon throughout the Megane range.. The swith is the interface between the steering wheel controls/airbag and the vehicle loom.
Or it may just be the power assisted steering motor/gearing whistling which is a feature of the car..
A bit like the Rattles which are a feature of Renaults
