Any of you guys been to both? How do then compare? I've been to Le mans a few times now and have been watching footage on the net of the ring 24 and it looks amazing!

Yes - I have shot both and shoot every year at Nurburg 24. There is no comparison. Lemans is child play by comparison. Come to the 24 this year. 220 cars!

A previous post from me:
Le Mans is a race for girls and sissies who are only interested in getting drunk in a field to the distant sound of a car in the background. If you want to come to a REAL race you should come to the Nurburg 24H. 220 cars (in a single 24H race!) and 25KM's per lap. I have shot this since 2007 and I can tell you it makes le mans look like childs play. Tickets are €80 for the week and the access to the race the teams and the track is far greater than Le Mans.

Here is some video just to get you in the mood:
The entry is so large there is 3 starts (Im the photographer at 49 seconds on the left checking my camera ;) )

And the one that puts chills up my spine every time

And some images from me
Some of my shots from the great race

So Who's coming to the ring?

€80 for the week for tickets. 280,000 people camping. So yes camping is available for about €14 a night. Also travel destinations do packages.
