A Mustang! - Guy looked a bit of a pikey and I think he was a bit pissed off although I did give him a thumbs up for trying lol

A Vactra :shock: erm this vectra pulled out in front of the mustang and a roundabout and then tried to keep up, was quite funny seeing the mustang overtake him

Coming the other way saw an astra VXR absolutley FLYING on a long radius bend as well must have been doing 120, it was time to go home at that point!

All in all quite an eventfull trip, car is running brilliantly with a new induction kit, I'm starting to think the normal airbox cant really cope with the remap, felt like someone had removed the cotton wool from the go pedal today. What a fecking car

just a boggo carbon one off ebay at the moment but so much better than the standard airbox!

It was a blue one m8 yeah but it was going that fast it was past me before I realised it was a VXR!

yeah I have same IK that andy has btw but I dont have the hosing on mine (didnt wanna cut my battery tray) Gonna try and source some rubber hosing instead of metal to get round that prob

just connet the hosing from the IK to the plastic tube that already runs under the battery tray, this will give you a good air feed from the back of the headlight straight into the IK

What happened to the VXR John...? I've been searching for a scrap with one of those for bloody ages... The only one round our way, is a bloody town driver and prefers to drive like a tit round the built up areas and cruise up and down the high street... , No thanks... I leave my slaying to the empty Dual carrigeways.. Do 30,000 miles a year and just haven't had the honour of giving one a new asshole yet... :wink:
You likely to be attending any 1/4 mile events this year mate? Think we need to be comparing our motors, don't you?... LOL Quite interested to see how the remapped ones go. My mate's got a standard 225..

alright ben hows tricks? Are you still having wet dreams or did you sell the CTR?? I will be down at york for sure got a few bits planned through this year so will be intresting to see what the times are like. People are getting 14.6's standard, mines got remap & filter at the moment got a few more bits to add before the seasons out too

I've been keeping my eye on the modding proceedings of the black beast mate.. Keep trying to get my mate to get his done.. :roll:
Been on here a while.. But haven't re-registered since the site went tits up mate... Finally pulled my thumb out my arse and sorted it now though..
CTR went over a year ago fella.. Just kept the user name for some reason. Now got the LCR. Had it just over a year now.. Nice motor, not as much fun as the CTR and a tad slower in standard form (but £500 soon sorted that out :wink: ), but alot better all round motor, especially for work. Do miss the CTR from time to time though.. .. LOL
You had the Meg on the rollers yet mate? What torque figs you lookin at?

Just Revo remap, Green panel filter and DV.. Oh and 30,000 gentley ran in miles... :twisted: ... You know me... :lol:

ran mine standard and got 15.00 dead, I'm crap at 1/4 miling though lol and you cant turn off traction control over 35 mph in the phase 1 megs, probably would have got about a 14.8 with a proper start but only had the one run. Not had mine on the rollers but another 225 with the same map got 267bhp and 300NM torque

with my 1/4 mile skills would be happy with 14.2/3 with it as it is now

Don't ya mean lb/ft? As 300NM would be a bit low i'd of thought..
Mine's about the same power, but 300lb/ft..

IHI Conversion then I take it...? Is it a Ibiza? As there the ones for the conversion... Alot lighter.. They are running sub 10 sec 0-100 times with that conversion.. Ferrari beaters... :wink:
