ok,

what exactly does an induction unit do to the car....im a n00b when it comes to under the engine mods.

did you use the standard air feed or custom feed to say lower bumper ??
does it feel/pull more/less ?

btw to answer a induction kit increase airflow over restrictive airbox designs most cars are designed to withstand nearly 250 different countries differeing and extreme weather conditions, luckily in th UK we have mild and cool conditions so you can ditch the stock airbox and create a more custom feed to increase flow, it can add upto 10hp on some cars dependant on feed quality and kit type / heat insulation

heres mine

iv just noticed craig, they have cut the pipe from the turbo in order to get it to fit, the cut about 150mm of it, did you know that

yes i knew they cut it mate they asked me as getting the viper in is really really tight and i didnt want the viper just being squashed in there, and now it sits quite sweet, dave seems to go downwards a little.

no ktec used a custom airfeed it just runs along by the side of the original airfeed to the front.

im well pleased with it, soon as it went in i could tell a big difference, pick up is superb

But why didn't u just cut some cm of original air tube. I think it would have fitted better. Not sure but a new air tube must be around 15 GBP (it's only plastic).

You can't usually see it anyway. I tend to drive with the bonnet down! As far as i'm concerned it's a performance mod, i'm not fussed how it looks.

I was only telling you that it would have been simpler to install (I guess), not that it would look better.
