Evening all
Just bought an r26 and plan some track day action. I know r888's are standard fitment on r26r's but they're expensive. I've seen some good reviews of the federals but not the Nankang. Easy to dismiss budget track tyres but the price and some of the reviews make them look like a compelling alternative to toyo's
Cheers

Try the AD08Rs , they will be perfect for road and track, very much like the R888 only cheaper with a deeper tread from new as far as I'm aware , I'll be trying a set myself very soon
hi
yes just the one set of wheels but the Renault is just a weekend toy but it will still be used on the road. spoke to demon tweeks who recommended the medium compound version, maybe because they didn't have the soft ones in stock!

quick update on this...
i bought the nankangs and they're great.... until they get too hot.
recent oulton track day they were fine in the am but went off by late afternoon. still loads of tread on them.
might try some different ones on the front for next track day.
they're fine on the rears
on the road they're great. fantastic grip in the dry, not too bad in the wet....
for the price i think they're good value.
