i had forgot yours was LHD gustav. Will add that onto the list :) if you open up the folders on the USB mate the numbers are in the "pack liste" folder.

Noir, sounds like that could be the car then mate. Quite a pricey one lol. Will await the pic when you get chance to post it up. It could be the car that a lad on renaultsport is having.

Thats quite interesting re the chassis numbers. They could possibly be LHD cars aswell hence having overseas chassis numbers or, as you say, could have been RHD cars sent off to a niche market in some other country. I guess we will never be able to figure it all out unless we can get a photo of every car that was made.

I wonder if anyone has emailed EVO to ask why they say there are a boat load of cars being shipped back to europe? It could just be a mistake on there part (like a couple of issues ago they said the seats were recaros lol)

re the blue car - pricey yes, but a month ago it almost certainly could have been purchased for ~15% off that price... I know this, re the Black car that was at the same garage and would probably have been the easier of the two to shift... Still, since then we have had the TG and most recent EVO reviews, so who knows!

no folder such name there mate.. that's why i asked anyone to send it to me if poss :)

reg the EVO .. i was staring at those "recaro " seats as well.. surprising as it has sabelt stickers all over the place ..

On my usb there is a link on the first page to it (iirc on the left hand side of the page) and also if you open it instead of running it there is a folder. It definatly should be on there.

Ill see if there is any way of emailing it to you over the weekend when iv got plenty of spare time :)

Yes it made me smile when i read the seats where recaros. I dont think the lads from sabelt where to impressed either :D

Hi Chirs

just been looking at you photo database:

you say that car HN58ULB (the one I test drove, as it turns out) is number 003; however the pdf lists car 003 as having a Ti exhaust, whereas HN58ULB does not. See last picture from your RUK album, if you want to see what i mean. So either this is not number 003 or the pdf is wrong!!

finally, you list some cars as '(RSR)'. What does this mean?

He means that Ron Simmons Racing have them out on Rental in Germany at Nurburg.

I think you are right, noir, about #003. It was featured in a magazine a while ago (tested against an R26 race car) with a standard exhaust on. I presumed it had been fitted just for that article.

Hi there. First post. Hi Guys - great site. Rif=gth now I want to read everything and watch everything there is on the R26.R - I've bought 117. Right now it is probably the most shiny R26.R in the world!

You have the spelling correct - which is more than can be said for me most of the time!

Anyways, the Caparo does not belong to me but is 'available'. Always handy to know a trustworthy driver ...

It is a beast. Makes my R1 look and feel slow. 100% concentration required to drive it.

People don't seem to keep these R26.R's for long. My plans for it are long term.

A friend and I spent the day in the Caparo today but the dotR still bought a smile to our faces on the way home. Brilliant little machine.

The T1 looks fantastic, one of my favourite cars of all time. Flat-plane V8's do something for me like no other engine.

I wish I had one 'available' to me! It would be an absolute riot in the sprint championship I do! If the owner ever finds themselves at a loose end with what to do with it one weekend, then let me know ;)

quality mate. You are one lucky fella to have a drive in that beast. Bet the meg will have it in the twistys thou LOL.

Uber respect to the owner (or whoever) for making the T1 "available" for you to have abit of boost. Id be so scared driving a car worth that sort of coin!

Good to hear the .R can still bring a big smile to you face after spending the day with car like the caparo. I love mine and hopefully will keep it forever.

Afaik #116 is still brand spanking new and is one of the very last cars to be bought/registered :)

dotR1 - you are a gent for posting that pic. Love your .R and that Caparo as well. I for one (job and other factors willing) hope to keep this car for a long time. I don't do many miles in it, but every one makes me grin from ear to ear. Aside from the looks, I still can't believe its a Renault, but that just reflects my ignorance of the marque and everything they seem to have been achieved with the Renaultsport range!

Re #116. Out of interest, which dealer has this car and is it really still unregistered? I can only think the seller is asking list and any potential buyer is then put off by the purchase prices he then reads about on this forum!!
