Jon please could you tell me which tools you require to remove the auto changer, I am thinking of removing the changer and replacing with either the blanking plate or the storage tray. At the same time i would install the link for my ipod nano

You use the same tools as the new ford sony/visteon units and can get the tools from the stealers.

I got the dealer to remove mine. It was a right pain even with the tools.

i left mine in and took the whole dash panel of and removed them from the back. you push the springs in then and it falls out.

These are the ones, It slips out nice and easy with them

yeah I would take out your head unit first then you can get to the little springs, push them inwards and the changer should come out
