Just a thought as an excuse to have a meet, especially as i couldn't make the last one, should we plan a RR day?

There must be somewhere in the south that does it (southampton?)
I'm sure there are people with a few mods so its not all 225BHp

Mind you would be nice to see if we are getting the correct figure, as their will be differences

We could ask K-tec to lend us one of their tuning boxes to try out!

I don't wanna step on peoples toes as i aint an events co-ord

So if Dave wants in then no probs, but if everyones happy and enough interest i look into it some more
phil
Well that went down like a lead balloon!
Be interested to see if she's making the power output they claim, what sort of money would we be looking at?
The website says its cheaper per more cars
i'll get some figures tomorrow

taken from the site:

Power runs

A power run is a simple test we can run to show the Bhp and torque your car is producing at the wheels. We can also approximate the power at the flywheel.

Your car will be put on the rollers and two to three runs will be done to make sure any particular run does not give a freak result.

We record the following results for each car run:

1) Bhp at the wheels

2) Torque

3) Boost pressure (forced induction only)

4) Air / fuel mix.

We can then plot all these variables against each other, giving you a clear picture of how your car is running.

The air fuel setting is taken from a wide band lambda sensor placed in the exhaust and gives both us and you a clear idea of how the car is running on the rollers, it also enables us to stop the session if we think damage could be done by continuing.

Power tests take about 45 minutes and are £42.57 + vat. Some big power/ rare cars require extra time to set up on the rollers, we charge more than the standard rate for these cars, but if this is the case, we will notify you when you book.
