I think the OP should be encouraged, not discouraged from carrying out his project. Who cares if it actually happens or not, at least he's given us something to discuss on here. Thats what this place is for.
It would be a very interesting project if it was done.
It's not fair to slag someone's car off just because you dont like it. Some constructive criticism would be more useful.

Thanks for the support. This project is going ahead 100%, there are far more mad modded cars out there C2 V12 for example that I'm sure cost a tad more.

I suspect he is neither wealthy nor eccentric enough to be able to carry it off without having to keep a serious eye on the budget. If he is, then the initial question wouldn’t even have been asked on here.

Most of this sort of stuff is just about posturing.

If I have that wrong, then bring it on and it will be an amusing adventure.

Engine is now ordered and this project will be started at the end of the month slight jump in power from 111bhp so should be great.

nearly 2 years ago this would have cost around that kind of money to put a proper built 225 engine into cc, but nowadays with all you track rats smashing motors left right and centre, you can probably build one for £2k now.

It's gonna add by the time iv had a custom miltek and engine upgrade. Need a new front bumper and rear reprinted so got 6k to do the conversion it's gonna be ace. A world first as far as I know.

One chap on youtube has put a clio 2.0 172 engine in a cc so this will be out of this world. cant wait
