Or should we do the calc be based on
Say a Full fat 5 door giving 222bhp at the flywheel :-

(A) Kerb Weight (Excluding Driver) (kg) 1375

OR

(B)Gross Vehicle Weight (kg) 1820

Whats the difference in gross weight and kerb weight (apart from 445kg)
in that why quote a difference anyway and what does it represent.
shouldn't it be calculated on the gross weight anyway?but it seems the kerb weight is the commonly used formula how come ?

cheers

Jas

This was taken from the renaultsport website:
Maximum Power - kw ISO (hp DIN) 225 (165)
Me thinks they (renault) have it the wrong way around  Not the 1st time they have made an arse of details on their website - does no-one proof read it
Should be 165 Kw and 225 hp DIN !!!
I have often seen 225hp or ps (not brake) and 222bhp quoted.
Clear as Mud then :D
