Just announced that Bruno Senna has signed for Williams F1. Nowhere near the talent of his great late uncle but will make for an interesting 2012 season along with their new Renault engine.

It's such a shame to see Williams struggling - Senna had a couple of good races in the Renault, but tbh I dont think he is F1 material. However, I may be wrong...time will tell. Good luck to them both.

He never had the development time growing up when his family stopped him racing, unlike say hami or nando week in week out practising practising.

i think he's brilliant, wish him all the best, hope he destroys maldonado... but lol like thats hard.

I'm glad he's got a race seat - I'd like to see him establish himself as the lead driver in that team.

Hopefully they give him a better car than last years effort!

Yeah, Ayrton wasnt bad, but tbh (and even though he was before my time) the more I learn about Jim Clark the more I think he may get my vote as the best F1 driver ever.

Different times, different cars and technology and different tracks, it's never as easy as "who's the best!" I'm a massive fan of Ayrtons but also think Michael Schumacher is one of the greatest ever drivers!!

I know what you mean - always supported the other guy in schumachers first stint, but cant help myself wanting to cheer for him now - would be so good to see him back on the top step...and he's even older than me!!
