Just got me a SSQV Dump valve just need some red tubing now.

Should be getting my K&N pannel filter tomorrow.

If you havent already adjusted it could you measure how far out the adjustment bolt is from the body of the valve please mate, messed with mine as soon as I got it

No its one off ebay cost £37 includng delivery not to bad.
This is the adapter ring:

and goes on the bottom like this:

my old man is gona weld a piece of pipe to the adapter. If that makes any sense.

You should be able to get the pipe pretty easy its nothing special.
i'll see if my old man has any laying around he uses 2" tubing all the time.

I'll post some pics when hes done it.

hell fire 37 quid is cheap! I've had some silicone hoses made up and also some special adapters to convert to 3/4" normal "T" connection, I have one full kit left but I cant split it unfortunately

yeah didnt think it was to bad. seen quite a few on there, there seems to be someone selling them from autrailia for £38+delivery.

Yeah i've seen some adapters but if i can just sick it to some pipe will be ok. I need to check in the engine bay and make sure it will fit with it being stuck on the pipe, i think there is enough room but will check tomorrow.

wat you need is like the alloy T piece from an escort turbo and just cut of the dump valve stem and weld the ssqv onto it, i got an escort one in the garage that i used to use on my old meg, its the perfcet size and lenght.

I'll see what hes got when he does mine hes always got loads of tubing laying around. Should be able to have a look tomorrow.

2" sounds about right but not sure without measuring the Plenum

Just checked with a tape measure looks like it is 2".

There aint much room tho might have to make some sort of t piece but will only know when i try it on.

I found some monkey nut shells on top of my engine i think somthing may be living under my bonnet.

the connection to the inlet from the intercooler is 52mm but the plenum is about 2-3 mm bigger but you can squeeze 52mm silicone hose onto it. I had a metal adapter connected to the plenum and other piping with two small bits of hose, the silicone hosing looks 10 times better, if you go to someone who deals with samco or SFS they can make you up bespoke hosing no pronlem, its fairly expensive but the end result is more professional looking, if anyone wants the ssqv to silicone hose ID adaptors let me know as I could put in an order with the american suppler, also while I'm at it I could order some 10PSI springs which are better for cars running the remaps

wats the benefit of having the 10psi spring jon as im getting mine remapped and also have the SSQV
