For all those knowledgeable people out there.....I have a phase II with the marker on the steering wheel. When going down a straight road, with no camber either way, I have to apply 20 or so degree of correction to continue without going off course. I'm not on about the slight drift to the left that all cars should have, just that the marker isn't at the top of the wheel when going staright ahead.

Any other phase II-ers experienced this??? Ideas??? Take it back and get it sorted???

I belive that the wheels have been aligned with the steering wheel being in the center position. This should be an easy fix but will require the front wheels to be re-alighned with the steering wheel in the corrcet position.

In the old days I'd just cheat. Pop the center cap off the steering wheel, loosen the center retaining nut, rotate the wheel to straight, and tighten it all back up again.

Nowadays you've gotta get past that silly little-girl airbag and stuff, not sure if it's quite as easy.

Vitto mate - steer clear of Sunwins if you can.... If you want it checking, go to a wheel specialist.. I know Inner ring in Derby are very good. Done loads of tyre swaps for me and not a mark to any wheel (they even use a clear lube to change the tyre rather than the white sh!t you get at other places!).

I have been and spoken to Sunwin in Derby and Notts, neither of whom I'd be happy to leave my car with.. Loughbrough are meant to have a good Renault specialist, prob go there or take a trip to Leeds to see Paul for a service, and I'll prob try Loughbrough with warranty issues (so far just the fogging rear light and lifting rear spoiler..).
