Just to give you guys an update on the Tom Tom one, im sure Andy will agree, its fantastic and you don't need the external aerial which is a bonus !!!

dav your right, poxy think, still got my external ariel run tho just in case but over all its 100% the nuts, i just come back from doncaster way today from a funeral and it took me door to door no probs, there and back as it should, as for positioning of mine i put mine on the right hand side of the dash in the corner of the window out the way, looks nice and tidy there.

I move mine about, depends where i can be bothered to put it. I mainly have it in the centre of the windscreen and sometimes to the right.

well wen i met up with jamie today the windscreen on mine is different to his but mine is a 55 and jays is a 04 but not sure about davs, maybe the new tom tom 1 has just got a better signal,

it must have as the go 300 never worked in my old 225, bought a bloody external antenna for nothing

Andy put your antenna on ebay you will get at least fifteen squid for it that can go towards another mod!!!!!!!

thing is its all run through the car now and up behind me dash so just leaving it in now, always comes in handy if im in a shity area with not a good signal.

Dean's right the Tom Tom one has a better antenna built into it. Its also got one of those batteries that never go flat quicker, no matter how often you charge it. The batteries on the other Tom Toms, if you don't let them go flat fully and recharge, they don't last as long. The one is a better one. Can't remember what the batteries are called now.
