On my 250 the sizes are 235/40/18

Is it possible to either go 225/40/18 or 245/40/18
Better range of tyres like the michelin pss or yokohama ad08

If going down to 225's will it offer the same grip or not and same really for 245

If your running a semi slick then you should be using the 225 as it's the same width as a 235 road tyre

I am thinking of 245 35 18 Rs-R's, wouldn't it be to wide? need superb grip. also have superb offer on mich sport cups 225 40 18...

235-40-18's are available in Mich cup 2's if grip is what your after.
Just sticking wider tyres on a car doesn't automatically mean more grip
