I've just covered 13K on the original Conti's and they need replacing. But considering I do 80% motorway driving and the fact that the Conti's aren't exactly sticky I think this is a bit on the low side.

So does anyone have any suggestions for which tyre I should go for next?

I'm thinking of going for thoe nexen 3000's. I can get them for a good price and haven't rated too badly (not as good as the Eagle F1 DS3's though).

Anyone used them before?

right, ive only had them 2 weeks, but ive been very impressed by the grip they give in the wet compared to the contis. and i got them cheaper than the contis. i know its unfair to properly compare them at this stage relating to wear rates and proper dry weather performance.

i should have pointed this out prior  :)

Edit: they are the Pilot Primacy

having had the shocking contis on my other 225 ( cack in the wet no grip wore to quick not even that good on hot roads ) and now having the dunlops on the new 225 there is no comparison( great all round grip vgood in the wet not sure about hot roads as not had none yet ), the dunlops are twice as good as the contis,

not sure on the price difference but im sure you willl find them cheap enough if you look
