Does your 225 wheelspin nearly every time you pull off?? Mine does and its getting on my nerves. Nearly impossible to floor off the lights, have let the tyres down abit.

Anyone got any tips

Mine does as well mate. Although my tyres need changing soon.
You want to try it with a remap!!!

are you a custom remapper or just increasing boost ?

i.e can you add an exhaust,induction etc and map to that extra potencial ?

also how are you going to try get more than 267 in future ? are you planning a 280hp to keep pace with courtneysports vxr remap only 280/305lbft

or maybe a 300bhp mod ? presumably needing a more efficient FMIC,Larger injectors (just to be safe) catback, perhaps induction then custom remap

Yep mine spins on take off in this shitty recent weather......and usually in 2nd, and occasionally a little one in 3rd, still trying hard for one in 4th!!

Hi mate, yes the mapping is custom and can be adjusted to every mod. Obviously to do this on every car for just say an IK would be pointless and expensive. The map i am currently using for the 225 will suit any IK/DV and should also work well with a stainless Turbo Back system. In development at the moment is a larger FMIC and a remap to match. I am hoping to see 300 with the FMIC, Remap, IK, De-Cat and DV. The map is running 18-20 PSI and performs well as STD but really needs the larger cooler. As for the Astra yes 280-290 BHP is easily had but they handle pants anyway so it will probably just be a straight line racer! A friend of mine tuned one and said first, second and third were undrivable! Are you on cliosport? I'm the one that was working on the 172 & 182 remaps but to be honest i feel i have come to a dead end as i am not part of the "in" crowd!

yea ive got a 172cup and yes im interested in the clio remap. im based in between york and leeds with most my family in leeds and one in york. im a leeds fan also :lol:

the in crowd ??? dunno what you mean, but i went to RWS donnington and noby was really interested in me even though i had a 172MKII ice silver posted 3.5k post on cliosport and have been a forum user for 2.5yrs i also on that day bought a 172cup from a forum user, again noone was bothered so i guess il stick to my northern meets (of which i havent been to any yet) i may do the garforth meet.

my bro has a fabia vrs tuned up (around 185hp 300lbft+) and its a rocket both me and him are going to a RR`d day out and it would be awesome if you brought the meggy for a play as i really want one but cant yet afford one im taking my cup stock apart from hillpower induction and no back seats)

funnily enough i had a quick blast against him last nite (funny as he idnt know it was me lol) and i pulled cleanly past him and his car is rapido so should be interesting to see power figures of his VRS, my Cup and your Meggy 225.
