So the only difference to the head light on the xenon (apart from the obvious lamp and control gear) is the opitical lense thingy?

yup and will be a poxy job fitting them to, as they have different supports under the lights behind the bumper, wen i done davs 225 that has got the xenons they are quite diferent to the standard lamps plus the connectors are different to,
would be better of just putting HIDs in your standard lamps like mine, infact they will even be brighter this way.
