I thought most cars have this nowadays. It's so that you can still hear the radio as your speed and the noise increases.

Sure that's what it is..could be wrong tho

 

I have only really had Honda's as previous cars so this is a new thing to me . I want to turn the dam thing off, had a search on this forum and no one has mentioned it

 

It is as u go faster it turns up

 

Anyone know how to turn it off?

Mine does this aswell just thought Renault done it so you could still hear the radio under acceleration

Not broken. Its supposed to do it. Not sure why you'd want to turn it off - surely hearing your tuuunnnneess properly is better than having them drowned out by road noise? If not, then.just turn the sterio off, surely?

 

I have come from an Integra DC5 and the road noise between the 2 is a HUGE jump. I find the 250 an extremely quiet car so when volume turns itself up i really notice is. Maybe i will get use to it but i would still like to turn it off

 

Not sure with the meg but my previous cars had an option to turn this off altogether or alter how much it does it...think its in advanced settings. it does serve a purpose but personally think its sh##e.

Display the settings menu by pressing 9. Select “Audio settings”.
To move:
– by turning 5 to move vertically;
– by pressing 4 to move horizontally (movement A);
– by pressing 5 to move horizontally to the right only.

Note: the system exits the settings mode automatically without the need for any action on the part of the user.
You can also exit the settings mode by pressing 9. To return to the settings mode, press and hold 4.
Note: setting 0 means the function is deactivated.

Access the “Other audio settings” menu and check “Adaptation volume km/h”.
Adjust the volume/speed ratio by turning 5.

 

I guess it depends on the radio, I have the 'uprated' Arkamys 3D with the SatNav screen and mine does it too. To turn it off you need to go in to settings then Radio settings and there is a Speed dependant volume sensitivity (can't recall the actual name, but something like that) .... and there are about 3 to 5 levels of sensitivity and an off.

I have the same setup so thats handy. Will post back once done
